Casa Theo is on a quiet street with ample parking and a small private patio garden with plunge pool and BBQ Upstairs: double bedroom with en-suite bath and shower, fitted wardrobes, safe, patio doors to private furnished balcony, 2 twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and access to balcony over back garden. Family bathroom with full body shower experience! Downstairs: Large living room with leather sofas, log burner and TV/DVD, shower/WC, large dining kitchen with chairs and table for 6. Kitchen fabulously equipped! Utility room with washer, iron and everything you need for a beach trip including towels and chairs. Outside: garden patio with plunge pool, (great for toddlers learning to swim!),BBQ, loungers and dining table and chairs. The Pigs Head pub is at the end of the street. Burgau is on the edge of the National Park that covers the western tip of the Algarve. It has world renowned surfing beaches and is a beautiful natural area for walking, cycling, horse-riding and swimming. If one beach is a bit busy you can just drive to the next! It also has a laid back vibe and some great places to eat and drink in the surrounding villages, like Salemma and Sagres, with its stunning cliffs and lighthouse.
Restaurants are generally very child friendly and serve pizza and kids meals alongside local specialities and fresh fish. It is even quite easy to be vegetarian and the traditional vegetable soup is really good.
Lagos is the nearest large town. It has the typical mix of history and modern life. The medieval world town is great for getting lost, boutique and local crafts shopping or sitting in a bar and watching the sea.You can visit the fish market for the days catch, admire the beautiful churches or the old slave market, or wander around the old walls and narrow streets. This is also the place to book dolphin-watching trips or sea cruises to see the natural rock formations and wildlife along the coast.
Further afield you can visit the "end of the world" at Cap St Vincente, where the explorer Henry set off to explore the new world, orRoman-influenced Monchique in the mountains, with its natural spa.

Fly to Faro airport and hire a car or get a taxi transfer or bus to Burgau. The drive takes approximately 1hr 10mins from the airport.
Lots of flights available with Monarch, Ryanair and Flybe from all the main airports. Car hire available at the airport.

"Casa Theo is a lovely house in a spectacular location. Burgau is an ideal place for a vacation, close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and a charming village with terrific restaurants".
This is a beautiful villa - very very spacious and furnished to a high standard. The garden is gorgeous with a lovely pool and the absolute highlight was the built in BBQ. I was in heaven in the kitchen, it's very well equipped. The bathrooms are massive with massage shower and jacuzzi bath!
Cette petite maison est une excellente surprise! Elle est en réalité vaste et très bien agencée, dispose de prestations haut de gamme et facile à prendre en main. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment.
