The apartment is located within a 3 minute drive to both the marina and beaches of Vilamoura. There are many beautiful restaurants and bars here to suit all tastes and pockets. Faleisa Beach is our favourite and has life-guard facilities. Nikki beach is also worth a visit and has lovely beach side restaurants. Albufeira is a 15 minute drive. The wonderful Wednesday market of Quarteira is 10 minutes drive. There are 6 championship Golf courses very close to the apartment (Millennium, Laguna, Victoria, Pinhal, Old Course, Villa Sol), but remember there are also great courses all along the Algarve which the owner will be delighted to tell you about. Its also well worth a trip into the old town of Faro (25 minutes drive) where there is also a large modern shopping centre. Loule, located inland, is a lovely town with a great Saturday market and great shopping.
The development is suitable for golf trips, adult parties and family holidays. There are numerous walkways and cycle paths in the area. Vilamoura marina is a 5 minute drive or a half an hour walk. There is also a local bus service available from the bottom of the road to the centre of Vilamoura. In the evening you can eat in the restaurants and relax at the marina in the open bars. Albuferia, Zoomarine and Aquashow parks are about a twenty minute drive and also accessible by coaches. Transfer from Faro Airport is about 20 minute

Golf: The apartment is located 5 min from Millennium, Laguna, Pinhal and the Old Course golf courses. There are other courses close by as well. 3 min to local driving range. The Millennium Course is an 18 hole par 72 course opened in 2000. Green fees are 95 euro, Club Rental 50 euro. Max handicap 28/-36. The Laguna Course (also 18 holes) has slightly cheaper green fees whilst the Pinhal Course (also 18 holes) is more expensive at 140 euro for green fees. Handicap certificates are required for all of the above courses. For reservations please call owner for details.
