Our Roda Golf apartment is a very convenient safe and secure base for participating in all that the Costa Calida has to offer – whether it is sports activities such as windsurfing, diving, water skiing and horse riding or enjoying a gentle sail on the Mediterranean Sea or just perhaps a stroll along the promenade that stretches along the palm fringed shores of the Mar Menor There are various good quality restaurants in town or further afield at La Manga, Los Belones and San Pedro and Los Alcazares and plenty of opportunities for shopping at local markets and shops. Recently opened is the fantastic La Zenia Shopping Boulevard – well worth a visit. For those who want a relaxing and comfortable holiday…….. La Casita is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including central heating for those cooler winter days as well as hot and cold air conditioning to keep you comfortable during the hotter periods. La Casita will host 4 people comfortably in its two twin bedrooms. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and the second double bedroom has exclusive use of the smaller but very well equipped shower room. All bedding and linens and towels and hairdryers are provided. Each bedroom has large double wardrobes with plenty of hanging and storage space as well as shutters to either let in or block out the sunshine (during your afternoon Siesta). A TV and DVD together with free wifi internet access together with an MP3/iPod docking station are all provided plus a selection of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment whilst you are staying at La Casita. There is a large comfortable sitting room and outside dining on the large terrace overlooking the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, electric oven, toaster, juicer and coffee maker as well as iron and ironing board, cool box etc.. We also provide use of 2 elderly !!cycles on request. Car hire can be arranged via our property managers (subject to availability) – at a much more advantageous rate than through the car hire companies. If you don’t want to hire a car then transfers are no problem from either Murcia Airport or Alicante El Altet airport – just ask us for details. The extra large terrace, which is just a few steps away from the beautifully laid out swimming pool, is equipped with a dining table and 4 chairs plus 4 sun loungers. Roda Golf is situated in a very convenient location to nearby transport links including motorway and rail which all go to ensure that day trips to the Medieval city of Murcia or Roman and Carthagian Cartagena as well as fabulous historic Alicante City are all perfectly possible. It is also only 3 hours or so from Madrid or Granada if you wanted to make an extra special day trip during your visit. Trips to Bendidorm are also available. Getting there is also easy – Murcia (San Javier Airport) is 10 minutes from the resort and Alicante only a 50 minute drive along the motorway and both airports are served by numerous quality and low cost airlines from most European hubs and regional airports. In the summer months the Collados Club is in operation to dance the night away. Although the apartment is wheelchair friendly it is not specifically equipped for the disabled guest. But one of the pools has a lift to enable disabled guests to use one of the great pools in our phase.
