The resort is ideal for cyclists and includes 80km of cycle paths. Faciliies include an outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, bar and shop.

The Pierre & Vacances residence is enclosed in a private park in the heart of St Martin-de-Re, one of the island's most captivating villages, this family accommodation is ideal for switching off and enjoying the tranquility of the location.

The best way to discover the island is to take bikes. There is lots to discover, blue-flag beaches (1km), bistros and country lanes, while a car is necessary for visiting the mainland attractions such as La Rochelle, the island of Ile d'Oleron and the many markets.

This is a fantastic choice for family holidays to Ile de Ré. There is a games room for children under 6 years-old. Board games and children’s books can be borrowed. The Poitou-Charentes/Vendee Region

- On the Ile de Ré: its dune-lined beaches, small villages, highly attractive harbours, its forest and numerous features to be explored by bicycle or on horseback.
- Loix (11 km) is part of one of Ile de Ré’s largest oyster-farms.
- Rivedoux (11 km) and its small, picturesque oyster-farming port.
- Sainte-Marie (8.5 km) with its streets, alleys and vineyard paths. The best way of enjoying these areas of freedom is on bicycle.
- L’Arche de Noé, this big attraction centre on the Ile de Ré is an ornithological reserve and animal specialist, not far from La Rochelle (20 km): scenes representing sea adventures, the museum of shells, butterflies and insects, the oceanographic museum, natural wonders from around the world, a centre for the breeding of domestic animals, the natural wonders of the island’s birdlife, the history of the island’s prison, the music centre with organ and synthesiser concerts, the floral garden and the jungle of parrots.

Ile de Re Area

Off the western coast of France, this island exudes its charm and is also called “Ré La Blanche”.
Saint Martin de Ré, the historic capital of the Ile de Ré, is a delightful village, built up around its harbour and protected by ramparts. At the heart of the village, the harbour is still the focal point sheltering fishing boats and yachts and is a key place to stop at and visit for all holiday makers visiting the island. 80 km of cycling lanes all over the island.

- Saint-Martin is a village with exceptional charm built around its harbour and protected by Vauban ramparts.
- Places to visit: Saint Martin’s harbour, but also Saint Martin with its small streets, wells and 17th century architecture.
- The Gothic Church (the Grand-Fort ruins), the fortifications built by Vauban, the citadel, L’Hôtel de Clerjotte dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, the former arsenal on the fortified square and its Ernest Cognaq Ile de Ré Museum. Arts and crafts: jewellery, fine glassware and silk painting.
The citadel, fortifications, museums as well as the streets and alleys are all treasures of the Ile de Ré heritage.

- Water sports: the Sailing Academy in La Flotte offers introductory or advanced courses on Optimists, dinghies, windsurfing boards, catamarans (3.5 km).
- Tennis: Ré Tennis-Club in Bois-plage en Ré: 2 courts including 1 outdoors (2.5 km).
- Horse-riding: Moulin Moreau Stables in La Flotte: jumping, dressage, riding school lessons and courses for adults and children. Pony-club for children over 3 years old (4 km).
- Thalassotherapy Relais-Thalasso Neptune in Sainte-Marie (8.5 km).
- Cycle paths: 80 km of cycle paths: it is possible to hire bicycles and scooters at Saint-Martin.
