The apartment is located in a modern complex called Marine Les Pins, which is beside the sandy safe beach betwen the lively centre of Juan les Pines, with its many restaurants, bars, clubs and famous Casino, and the smaller quieter centre of Golfe Juan which has a fine marina, colourful shops and excellent selection of restaurants, many specialising in fish or cuisine provencal. Either centres are just a 10 minute walk along the beach front from the apartment, or a 5 minute bus ride (for 1 euro).
In the apartment complex itself you will find a large supermarket, 3 restaurants, a cafe and a bar (which has internet facilities), hair salon, wine shop, pharmacy and other small outlets. Plus there are restaurants and shops independent of the complex. The restaurants on the seafront, directly in front of the apartment, offer some good value with great views.
The very popular town of Antibes with its cobbled streets and ancient walled town & marina has many shops, restaurants bars and is located just 4 kilometers away. The famous resort of Cannes is less than a 15 minute drive.
The popular and inexpensive train service which services all the towns of the Cote D'Azur at regular intervals offers the opportunity to explore the French Riviera, including Monaco and beyond. The trains stop at both Golfe Juan and Juan les Pins. Alternatively and highly recommended is the very regular bus service between Cannes and Nice, with a bus stop situated in front of the complex. The No 200 bus which arrives approx every 10 mins, servicing the towns along the coast, including Antibes, will even take you directly to the airport for the princely sum of 2 euro. A copy of the Bus timetables is available in the Information Pack in apartment, along with brochures of activities and Cote D'Azur guidebook.
We provide an English speaking "meet and greet" service to ensure that you are happy with the workings of the apartment and the security features etc, plus there is a concierge attached to the apartment block in the event of any emergencies. A "Welcome Pack" of essentials can be arranged also. We provide a weekly cleaning and change of linen, if staying for a 2 week period or longer.
To help you cater for the Airline weight restrictions being applied now days, the apartment is fully equipped, including hair dryers (2), beach towels (4), electric adaptors, Iron etc, as well as all the usual item you would expect, this will help you keep your packing to the minimum.

The Cote d'Azur/Provence Region
Aside of the many restaurants, bars, beach and the attractions of the local area. Cannes, St Tropez and Nice are all within easy reach, just minutes away. If you have a car, it is strongly recommended to go inland to view the small villages and the countryside.
- The unique medieval pedestrian village of Mougins is a must, known for having the most Michelin-rated restaurants of any region in France, it's full of narrow alleys, cobblestone streets and Picasso spent the last 15 years of his life here.
- Even if you are not an art lover, a visit to Renoir's home and grounds, preserved in it original state in the town of Cagnes sur Mer is recommended.
- Antibes old Town, with its original ancient walls, is a great place to meander plus its port and marina. It has a number of museums, Picasso's being worth a visit. Don't miss the colourful Provencal Market in the centre of Town.
- The International Perfume Museum in Grasse is housed in an eighteenth century mansion. There are more than thirty perfumeries in Grasse, the most famous of these are Fragonard, Galimard and Molinard, all of which offer free tours.
- For the younger travellers, there are many attractions, aside of the long, safe, sandy beach, such as amusement parks, glass bottom boat trips, go-kart racing, mini & crazy golf, to name but a few along the coast between you and Nice. There are also regular Children’s Theatre and Marionette shows in Nice, plus a number of observation centres and museums appealing to all ages
All of these locations can be reached within 30 minutes of the apartment, including the city of Nice. The old town section of Nice is a favourite of tourists.
Juan Les Pins Area
Juan les Pins is commonly referred to as Antibes - Juan les Pins as Juan les Pins is the a seaside area of Antibes, with sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, boutiques, night clubs and casino.
This suburb of Antibes attracts Europeans from many backgrounds in pursuit of entertainment, sun, sea and sand.
Golfe-Juan is a smaller seaside resort that offers a superb view of the Lérins Islands and of the "Cap d'Antibes". It’s famous pottery makes ideal gifts or souvenirs. Golfe Juan is in the centre of a large natural harbour stretching from Cap d'Antibes to the East, to the Cap de la Croisette in Cannes. Its boasts a sizable marina of with numerous Restaurants both along the marina and throughout the town itself. Its compact and easy to walk around, as is Juan les Pins.
As the apartment is ideally situated on the beach between these two resorts, (either just a 10 min walk), you have the best of both world — the lively resort of Juan les Pins or the quieter more sophisticated option of Golfe Juan, depending on your preference on the day or night. Not to mention the all round favourite for all ages and interests of Antibes old town.
Getting There
Flights daily from Dublin with Ryanair & Aer Lingus to Nice Airport and from Cork to Nice with Aer Lingus. Regular flights from most UK Airports.
Apartment is approx a 20 minute car or taxi drive from airport - around E50 by taxi
Bus No. 200 - Nice/Cannes line, passes directly beside apartment complex and stops at Airport Terminal (costs just 2euro)
We will have our english speaking colleague to meet you close to the apartment, to show you access and all the features and answer any queries you may have. She will also be your contact person during your stay should you have a problem. There is also a concierge on site.
