The apartment is located on a quiet residential road and can be accessed from the main street of Villefranche by road or by steps. It is in a modern 4 storey building on the 3rd floor. It is a very modern, newly renovated, 2 bedroom apartment, with large open plan living area boasting double sofa bed with large flat screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped, with ceramic hob, built in oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, iron coffee maker etc. and has a large dining area included. Bedroom 1 : Double 5 ft bed, built in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 : Single bed, chest of drawers. Bathroom with Power Jet Shower. The large balcony has table and chairs for eating outside and has stunning views of the whole of Villefranche Bay.

The Cote d'Azur/Provence Region
Very mild climate, summer quite hot. Autumn and Spring very pleasant weather. Sites to see :
16th century Citadelle Saint Elme. Chapelle St Pierre decorated by Cocteau. 13th century medieval quarter. Villefranche church. St Michel chapel.
Villefranche Sur Mer Area
Very convenient to Monte Carlo, ( 20 mins by car, bus or train), Nice (10 mins by car bus or train). Other towns on the Cote d'Azur, Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu sur Mer, Eze, all within 10 mins of the apartment. Further along the coast are the towns of Cannes, Juan les Pins, Antibes, St. Tropez, all accessible by train bus or car. Ideal touring base, convenient for walking, cycling, fishing, diving (available at Cap Ferrat).
Getting There
Fly to Nice via Dublin or Cork (summer months only). Regular buses or taxis available from the airport.
