Villa Patricia is in a quite cul de sac close to the the Playa Bastian beach. The resort is situated on the coast in the central part of the island, Costa Teguise is one of Lanzarote’s main tourist resorts. It is only a 20 minute drive from Arrecife airport and is a convenient place from which to explore the islands tourist and Cultural attractions, as well as the northern fishing villages of Arrieta and Orzola. The island’s historic capital of Teguise is a 10 to 15 minute drive away and provides a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Costa Teguise, unless of course you go on a Sunday, when the market is in full swing. Costa Teguise is well situated to explore the many tourist attractions in the North of Lanzarote, such as the Cueva de los Verdes, Jameos del Agua and the Jardin de Cactus. Windsurfing, as mentioned before, is a major pastime in Costa Teguise with visitors and residents alike. There are windsurfing schools, shops and equipment rental companies clustered around the beach at Las Cucharas. Most levels of experience are catered for, from Absolute beginners upwards. Cycling and running are also quite widely enjoyed for the more energetic amongst us, the balmy climate and safe roads making for a very pleasant experience. Costa Teguise has established Golf course so this is where you need to head for eighteen holes in the sun all year round. There is also a water park and a selection of diving schools Like most of the resorts on the island, Costa Teguise nightlife could be classed as lively but not rowdy. Restaurants are open until late and there is a good selection of bars, both British and local style, in the resort.
This is not essential in Costa Teguise but could be an advantage if you are planning to see the many sights the island has to offer

With Catlanza´s memorable crew, you are assured of the most friendly and relaxed service in Lanzarote. So why not sit back and be pampered with the thought you always had … that life is all about indulgence. Help yourself to the complementary bar and keep an eye out for dolphins and whales as you cruise to Papagayo.
Anchoring in a sheltered bay, you will then explore the marine life in the crystal clear waters. Make the most of the snorkelling equipment and gain knowledge from the dedicated crew. For the more adventurous, let one of the instructors tempt you with an exhilarating jet-ski ride around the bay. Soon however, you will be drawn back to the inviting aromas of cooking on board as the cook serves up a delicious hot pasta meal with either a tuna or vegetarian sauce, salad, cheese and bread to satisfy the most energetic amongst you.
Eventually as always, it is time to leave. Sailing gently back along the dramatic coastline, everyone is welcome to try their hand at steering or pulling the ropes. Or why not simply relax with a drink in hand to end the perfect day. All drinks, lunch, transport from resort, jet-ski, snorkeling are included in the package.
Take a stroll or swim on the Beaches
The main sandy beach Playa Grande is almost a kilometre long with comfortable sun loungers and parasols for hire at reasonable prices. The main resort town on the island has grown steadily over recent years. Its attractiveness lies mainly in the carefully developed low-rise buildings and extensive landscaped promenades. The old part of the town is little more than a village with its original fishing harbour. The resort has a wide selection of shops (selling everything from designer fashion, local linen, ceramics and handicrafts), restaurants (providing the widest choice of cuisine at prices much below UK and Irish levels), bars, discos and nightclubs.
Puerto Del Carmen is proud of its beaches and boasts more “Blue Flag Awards” than any other resort on the island. The “Blue Flag Award” is granted by the EU to beaches that meet exacting criteria. The blue flag awards are granted for cleanliness, the availability of public conveniences and shower facilities, duty lifeguards and importantly disabled access. The European Community make the awards annually. “Blue Flags” can be seen flying on the Playa Grande beach, Playa Matagorda, Playa los Pocillos and Playa Chica all in Puerto Del Carmen.
