Jardines de Casares is just 300 meters from Casares Bay, a beautiful sandy, unspoilt stretch of coast with two of the finest Spanish restaurants in the whole region overlooking the bay.
Accommodation is spread over 3 floors. The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 Master bedroom with En-Suite bathroom on the top floor. Two further bedrooms are located on the first floor, along with the family bathroom. One of these has twin beds, the other a single bed with additional folding bed on request. Ground floor open plan living/dining area with French windows opening on to a large private patio and enclosed private garden (child friendly). Ground floor W/C and fully equipped kitchen. Additional sofa bed provided for occasional visitors. The house, the largest in the complex, is bright and spacious, with everything provided for a stress-free family holiday. Hot and cold central air-conditioning with separate zones.
TV provided with English channels as well as DVD player with a selection of movies and books.
With sunshine most of the day, the large private patio and garden is the perfect place to BBQ or relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set over the mountains.
The neighbouring landscaped park has a new children's playground, cafe and sports area.
The beach is a short stroll from the house, with full facilities and parking if you prefer to drive.
The local beach, beach bars and restaurants are excellent but there are also many other beaches within a short drive, all with full facilities and beach bar/restaurants. None of the beaches is ever overcrowded in this region and you can always find a sunbed to rent if you wish.
There are numerous convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. A petrol station offers basic provisions 200m from the complex, where a taxi rank and bus stop are also located.
The Costa Del Sol Region
The Costa del Sol is best known for its year round sunshine and beaches but there are many cultural attractions and activities to enjoy. The cities of Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba all have fascinating Moorish influences and beautiful palaces to visit. This is a fabulous location for golfers, and it is only a short drive inland to access national parks and mountains for hillwalking.
Casares Costa and Sabinillas offer an ideal location for sunshine holidays, with well developed tourist facilities but no high density high-rise developments. The lovely town, beach and port of Estepona and the picturesque marina of La Duquesa are only minutes away, where there are many more restaurants, bars and activities.
Estepona is home to the popular African Animal SELWO National Park, with three water parks also readily accessible.
The pretty white village of Casares is a few km up the mountains where the traditional character of Andalucia can be experienced. The stunning mountain town of Ronda is also easily accessible. The house is a perfect base for exploring the area and great for golf enthusiasts with a huge choice of courses within a few minutes drive.
Street markets take place at Marbella, Estepona, SanPedro, Sabinillas and Puerto Banus.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are located 20/30 min away with many more attractions.
Gibraltar is nearby. At one hour's drive, Tarifa offers whale watching trips and is a windsurfers paradise. Nearby Algeciras has ferries to Tangier in Morocco, a fascinating day trip.
With the Sierra Nevada within reach, the location is also an ideal base for a winter break combining a few days skiing with a winter sunshine holiday.
Fly to Malaga with various airlines from most Irish and UK airports. Car rental recommended. I hour drive from the airport. Alternatively fly to Gibraltar from the UK with only 20 min drive to the house.
