The apartment is located in Vale de Parra, a quiet, well-established area in the district of Guia in the municipality of Albufeira. The property is on the first, also upper floor and is part of a sealed complex with two large swimming pools and a small swimming pool for children. The whole is surrounded by beautiful, well-kept gardens. Parking is sufficient.

Within walking distance of the apartment you will find a well-stocked supermarket, cozy places to have coffee and a few restaurants. Galé's idyllic beach is a 6-minute drive or 30-minute walk and is 2.3 km away. The beautiful beaches of St Raphael, Evaristo, Castello and Coelha are also nearby. The famous Salgados golf course is 2 km from the apartment. Albufeira's Old Town is 7 km away and the Algarve Shopping is 5 km from the apartment.

The layout of the apartment is as follows: hall, spacious living room, large modern kitchen with various appliances such as fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen has a balcony where you can enjoy the afternoon sun and sunset at sea. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the apartment. One of the bedrooms has a balcony that looks like the balcony of the living room over the pool and the garden, where you can sit in the morning sun. Both bedrooms have spacious wardrobe closets. In the apartment there is TV and radio, DVD player, air conditioning and WIFI.

The Algarve Region

Vale de Parra, which means valley of the vines in Portuguese, is a tranquil residential area, 10 minutes drive west of the lively Albufeira resort. This is a great location for those seeking a relaxing holiday but wanting the convenience of having all the resort amenities within easy access.

There are a number of good restaurants and cafés in the area, including a Michelin awarded in Galé. There are shops and supermarkets which are on walkingdistance from the apartment. The Apelónia supermarket where you can buy exclusive and international produkts is located in Galé.

Some of the Algarve’s best beaches are within easy reach of Vale de Parra, like Coelha, Lourenço and the long stretches of golden sand at Galé. Behind the dunes, to the west of Galé beach, you will find the stunning Salgados Lagoon, a wildlife bird sanctuary, with over a hundred species. This nature reserve is surrounded by a convenient pathway, suitable for walking or cycling.

Salgados is the nearest 18 golf course only 5 minutes away and within a 20-30 minutes drive, you will find some of the best golf courses in Europe, located in Vilamoura to the east, and in Alcantarilha to the west.

A 10 minutes drive north of Vale de Parra will take you to the charming village of Guia, home of the popular spicy piri-piri chicken restaurants, and the Algarve Shopping, a modern shopping centre with an excellent range of shops, cafés and restaurants. You can also enjoy the dolphins, seals or sea lions shows at the nearby ZooMarine ocean park.

Albufeira Area

The Algarve offers endless choice in family activities, translating in many fun filled days that will be everyone's delight. Visit one of the many exciting water and amusement parks, partake in a truly unique experience interacting with dolphins, enjoy a great day out on a boat discovering the stunning Algarve coastline with among others the amazing Benagil cave and watch the wild dophins or learn to dive with qualified PADI instructors, take surfing lessons at Galé beach to name just a few of the many activities that will make your Algarve holiday even more memorable.
