Residence "Corte Campedella" is a beautiful prestigious gated complex located amongst the vineyards in Bande, Cavriana, on one of the 10 food and wine roads of Lombardy: 'La Strada dei Vini e Sapori Mantovani' and hence a paradise for lovers of Italian food and wine. The condominium consists of 10 privately owned apartments. The apartment is situated in the peaceful Morainic hills just a 15 minute drive south from Sirmione and Desenzano which are both on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The building was owned by the Gonzaga family from 13th-18th centuries. The apartment is  located on the battlefields of the 1859 Battle of Solferino as a result of which, the International Red Cross was formed. The apartment is in an ideal location for family holidays as it is in private grounds accessed by an electronic security gate. There are also many attractions within easy driving distance, e.g. Gardaland ...

...Theme Park, Canavaworld Water Park, Verona and its opera, Venice and its carnival, and of course the beautiful Lake Garda!The apartment is on two floors, the first floor comprising of a large lounge and a kitchen/diner. The second floor comprises two spacious bedrooms (double bedroom with a king size bed and a twin room with two single beds) both with en-suite shower rooms. The apartment can comfortably sleep 4 adults. The 5th bed folds down and is only suitable for a child. It can be placed in either of the two bedrooms.All ceilings are beamed and all floors are tiled. The apartment has a rustic feel.There is a communal swimming pool (20 metres x 10 metres) and a communal garden well stocked with flowers and shrubs.If you wish to holiday with family or friends I have an adjacent apartment for rent that sleeps 4.

The apartment is in a rural area surrounded by farmland and vineyards but within easy reach, by car, of all the Lake Garda tourst attractions. The apartment is within walking distace of three vineyards where wine tastings are possible.The apartment is located on the site of the 1859 Battle of Solferino, as a result of which The International Red Cross was started.

There are plenty of local attractions for all ages. Many watersports are available on the lake....jet skiing, sailing, wind surfing, water skiing and motor boats to hire. Thre are also organised boat trips from Sirmione, Desenzano and Peschiera on the southern shore of Lake Garda that will take you to other lakesde resorts such as Garda, Lazise and Bardolino.You can take a day trip to Verona, Venice, Milan, Brescia or Mantova by car or train from Desenzano station (20 minutes drive by car). Parking at the station is free.The apartment is  located on the battlefields of the 1859 Battle of Solferino as a result of which, the International Red Cross was formed. There are also many attractions for children within easy driving distance, e.g. Gardaland Theme Park, Canavaworld Water Park, Movieland all near Lazise and the wildlife park at Padenghe.The Verona opera is well worth a visit during July/August.Venice, particularly during Carnvival must not be missed.The thermal spa at Sirmione is also worth a visit for a day of pamering and relaxation.The closest golf course is Chervo Golf at Pozzolengo - 10 minutes by carThere is a pizzeria/trattoria 5 minutes walk away. It is very reasonably priced with good quality good.

The communal open air swimming pool is open May to September (weather permitting).

There are communal gardens for the use of all the owners of the condominium and their guests.

The communal garden is well stocked with flowers and shrubs and surrounds the large outdor comunal swimming pool (20m x 10m).

A gazebo, table and chairs are available by the pool.

Sun loungers are available for guests' use. This lovely tranquil setting is an ideal place to relax and cool off in the pool after a busy summer's day out at the many nearby tourist attractions.The apartment has an allocated parking space with car port. The parking area is secure - behind a remote controlled gate.

Note: Prices includes gas, water, electricity, bed linen, towels, tea towels and end of stay cleaning. You are kindly requested to bring your own beach/pool towels.A 20% deposit is required ... reserve the apartment and then the balance plus a £150 security deposit will be required at least 8 weeks before commenced of the rental. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental the full payment plus security deposit is required immediately. Any payments made are non-refundable. You are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation on any grounds including, but not limited to, weather, strikes, delays etc as well as personal loss and injury.Payment can be by cheque or bank transfer.

There is flexibility regarding changeover day. Arrival is after 3pm and departure before 10am.
