The skylights were stunning, the view from the window amazing. We were very comfortable and found every where we wanted to go was easily access from the bus stops very near by. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

cThis is a wonderful apartment in a great location. The apartment was charming, spotless, filled with light. The bed was very comfortable. I stayed there for a week in June 2015 with my daughter. We made use of the kitchen for breakfast and lunch - shopping at Tesco in the village. Getting to the apartment from the airport was a breeze and we went into the city everyday on the city bus. We enjoyed staying a little outside of the city and mingling with people in a neighborhood outside of the tourist zone. The view from the apartment is wonderful. We enjoyed walking along the strand and felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. The customer service from Iverna and her staff was excellent. Very easy arrangements. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Another great stay!
5 of 5
I've now stayed in Iverna's holiday apartments four times in the last 2 1/2 years (twice in the upstairs apartment, twice in the one bedroom downstairs). Her apartments are clean, comfortable, and located in perhaps the prettiest neighborhood in Dublin! The view from the upstairs apartment is stunning, with the ever-changing light and tides on Sandymount Strand. The apartment has wifi, cable, a flat-screen tv, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of seating, a dining table, a huge king-sized bed, and a sunny bathroom with a skylight over the shower!

The location couldn't be better! You can enjoy glorious walks along the Strand (on the road or on the sand), or a short walk to the village to Tesco, a Dry Cleaners, a craft butcher, the Butler's Pantry (for tasty takeaway), clothing and gift boutiques, two pharmacies, and several great pub and restaurant choices. (Try Dunne and Crescenzi's for a scrumptious breakfast--the best espresso drinks, pastries, and scrambled eggs and Italian bacon!).
Transportation is also convenient. Buses are steps away. The Dart (to take you up and down the coast) is about a 15 minute walk. Cabs are easy to grab in Sandymount Village.
Seaview Holiday Apartments are a perfect place to stay if you want easy accessibility to the city and coast, but prefer to stay in a real Dublin neighborhood. A gorgeous area. I'll be back next year for my fifth visit!

Perfect location for relaxation and exploration!
5 of 5
This apartment was perfect for our first time in Dublin. While it is not in the center of the city, this was better for us. The home is right on a bus line to the city center and the buses are quite frequent. In 10 minutes, you are walking around Trinity College. It is a short walk to the DART so we could explore the whole Dublin coast (and we did!!!). And the village of Sandymount is lovely - great restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. The apartment is quite large and has a great view of the Irish sea. One day, we were lucky enough to be there while there was a huge beach rugby tournament. In the apartment is an adequate kitchen, nice living room and separate bedroom. Quite a comfortable spot!

Lovely apartment with beautiful views
5 of 5
Iverna made everything so easy for us, with her instructions from the Airbus to Seaview, and also

the buses into Dublin were so easy. The apartment was clean and spacious and very home from

home, with everything thought of, including the hairdryer and iron, and so nice to have a welcome

pack of tea, coffee and biscuits etc. on our arrival. The views are lovely, and so interesting

because they changed all the time when the tide went in and out. Iverna told us about the walk

to the lighthouse we could see from our apartment window and we did it one afternoon, and

enjoyed it immensely, especially seeing all the wild life on the way, and meeting so many friendly

people. The village round the corner was great with lots of restaurants to choose from, and a

really good butcher shop. The week passed so quickly, there was not enough time to do everything

we wanted, but we did visit the Wicklow mountain area on a tour bus, the scenery is beautiful.

Dublin is an amazing city, with a really good atmosphere, and so much to do and see.

We found the people so friendly, and Seaview was the ideal place to stay.

This is a wonderful flat. It is in a great location. Just a short walk to Sandymount and the commuter train. Sandymount has most everything you will need for your state including grocery, restaurants and pubs.

The flat itself is nice and cozy. It has a great bed and super hot shower. Nice view.

Iverna was the perfect, friendly, helpful host, welcoming me on arrival, the apartment is in a prime location right across from Sandymount Strand beach, views to die for each day! Sunrise, sunsets were stunning! The apartment, accessed by a few steps itself is quite large and equipped with every amenity required- including wi-fi, a very comfortable large bed, walk-in closet, tv with Sky, dvd, a fully loaded kitchen and modern, beautiful bathroom with a skylight right over the bath! It was quiet, serene, private and very clean! Only a few minutes out of the city centre by taxi and a short 7 minute walk to Sandymount Green where I found an abundance of top quality pubs, restaurants (Browns Cafe for breakfast was incredible!!) and even a Tescos and a post office! Perfect place for those who don't want to be smack dab in the city centre but close enough to access it. Sandymount itself is a prime little village. I can't wait to stay in this quaint little haven of a top floor apartment again on my next visit to Ireland!

Great place indeed; what with Dublin enjoying a heatwave at the time it was brilliant to be able to open the windows and let the sea breezes cool us down.

What a nice time we had visiting Sandymount and staying in Iverna's apartment. The location is ideal, with a mesmerizing view of the Irish Sea, modern, comfortable living quarters and easy connection to the airport, downtown Dublin and to idylic seaside towns on the coast. The property was exactly as Iverna described it and met our needs well. The Sandymount Village is within walking distance and is just charming. Iverna's guide to pubs, restaurants and local merchants was quite helpful and accurate, What are you waiting for - this is the place for you.

With a fast response from the owner and an availability the days we needed we were quickly swept off to Dublin and area. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and added suggestions as to where is good to visit in this little village of Sandymount. A great location for the bus routes. A great location to dream out the windows as you stare at the bay. A quick walk to town and you have anything you really need if you don't want to venture any further. Nice shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from. All of the locals we met were very generous and friendly. This home away from home has everything from a comfortable large bed to a large bathroom and large kitchen. A tv that works and everything you need to make meals for yourself (other than the food.) Spacious closet and a portable heater for the area as it does get a tad chilly at times. We would recommend this place to anyone as long as you can climb about 15 stairs. We were able to meet the owner who is very nice as well. Go and stay, you won't be sorry. The nearby Dublin city centre has alot to offer as well but if you just want some quiet.... this is your place too.

I had such a great time this summer staying at this apartment for a month. It is homey, comfortable, quiet, convenient and just right for one or two people. Immediately I relaxed after a transatlantic flight, and settled in. Stores and restaurants are so close for groceries or a meal. Aircoach stops are steps aways which makes getting to the airport a snap. Sky tv entertained my grandaughter very well. I enjoyed reading books from the bookshelf sitting on the nice red couch.

I can't wait to return. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

This is a gorgeous apartment in the best part of Dublin.
We loved being able to go to sleep listening to the seagulls and waves, and the local village shops had everything we required.

We found it so easy to get into Dublin city centre, usually took us about 10 minutes aon the bus that runs from right outside regularly.

The apartment was exactly as it was described, at the top of the house, bright and actually bigger than it looked in the photos.
The service from the owner was prompt from our first enquiry .
On arrival we received a warm welcome and some great tips on the area.
We especially appreciated the restaurants closeby and the Dublin Cultural tour.

We are so sorry to leave today but we fully intend returning to Dublin and would not stay anywhere else.

For anyone travelling without a car,as we did, the Aircoach stop is just nearby

I have been lucky enough to stay in this apartment almost every time I return to Dublin. I have visited at least 3 times a year as my daughter is studying in Dublin.
I always arrive with a feeling of reaching 'home' after the long journey, & there is always a warm welcome from the owner. The apartment is beautifully kept & I will never tire of the views. I love to walk along the Strand in the morning & have a delicious breakfast in Brownes Cafe on Sandymount Green. The Dart is a 10 minute walk away & with the bus stop just outside the door I do not need a car, though free parking is available all around.
I recommend this property to friends & relatives all the time, though I would quite simply be horribly disappointed if the owner could not let me stay because someone else had already booked. If only it were possible I would take my possessions & live there for years!

With the panoramic vistas of Dublin Bay and just a stone's throw from Dublin centre this apartment was ideally situated for our recent visit to Dublin. We were delighted with the accommodation and could have spent hours just looking out the windows. The property was in pristine condition and very comfortably furnished. It is also just a few minutes walk from Sandymount Village which is very attractive and has quite a few restaurants worth visiting. We shall be back!

A wonderful place to stay.

This apartment on Strand Road was exactly what I was hoping for and exactly what I needed. I was convalescing after a long illness and wanted to be next to the sea for the air and exercise and views, and I wanted to be in Dublin in order to visit my daughter who is studying there. As soon as I arrived I knew I'd chosen the right place. It was very clean and warm ( it was January) and I felt safe and comfortable. I can honestly say I started to feel better after the first day, and by the time I left I was almost completely renewed. The view was wonderful with so much to watch - people excersising their dogs or themselves, the ferries from UK coming and going and sailing boats at the weekend. The bus stop was right outside the house and regular buses took me into the city in about 15 minutes. A 5 minute walk took me to the local shops, cafes and pub. I didn't need to go any further if I wanted a restful day. I stayed for four weeks and felt completely at home. The owner, Iverna, made me feel very welcome and no question was too much problem. She even made an appointment for me with her own doctor just round the corner when I felt rather unwell at one point. The doctor was marvellous and immediately helped me feel better.
A fifteen minute walk took me to the DART railway station, where regular trains went to the North or South of Dublin. Howth was my favourite destination - a working fishing harbour of great attractiveness where you could buy fish almost as they came off the boats, or let someone else cook them at one of the restaurants beside the water. You can also climb to the cliff tops and look back at Dublin Bay and the city - a stunning view.
There is definitely no need for a car as public transport is plentiful and so handy.
The apartment is very spacious - even the bathroom has plenty of space. I am hoping to return as soon as I can, and I would recommend the apartment to anyone ( as long as they are not booked in when I want it!)
