The fully air conditioned quad house is on a small residential community with two communal swimming pools. The terraces overlook one pool in a gated garden. It has 3 bedrooms, a shower room, a bathroom, large lounge diner and an American kitchen. The terrace has seating, tables and sun shade for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the Spanish sunshine. Or why not enjoy a family barbecue?

The ground floor has a twin bedroom and shower room. The master bedroom has a king size bed plus room for an additional bed or cot, and private furnished balcony. Also on the first floor is a large twin room which can comfortably accommodate a third bed if required. The main bathroom is on this floor. Reached by an internal staircase is the furnished solarium with sea view.

All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and heating making it suitable for your summer holiday or winter sun holidays or even a weekend break.

The location means that you are not dependent upon having a hire car as there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The local blue flag beaches are under a mile away and you can do your daily shopping at the excellent supermarket on your way back to your holiday villa. On Saturdays there is a very large street market nearby. La Zenia Boulevard shopping and leisure complex, boasting 150 shops, bars and restaurants plus play area, casino and bowling alley, is under 15 minutes’ walk from the house.

For golf lovers there are 4 courses within 10 minutes’ drive of the house and more nearby. The Mar Menor, famous for its mud baths and water sports is only 15 minutes’ drive south. The area inland from the house is arable farming, mainly citrus fruits and vegetable. The historic city of Orihuela is 20km away and can be reached easily by car or bus.

The Costa Blanca South Region

The Orihuela Costa:
The Orihuela Costa is 16 kilometres of coast shared between beaches at Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. Every year 2 of the the Playa Flamenca beaches have been granted the Blue Flag by the European Union for their excellent state of services, hygiene and conservation. The beaches are well signposted and possess a range of services such as showers, footbaths, ramps, children's play areas, first aid station, lifeguard services, beach security guards and special areas of relaxation. Some services are available during the main summer season only.

Also along this stretch of coast there is a succession of sandy coves backing onto cliffs which are very popular with tourists and residents alike due to the crystal clear waters and the golden sand. The little beach bars, "chiringuitos", serve tapas, snacks and cold drinks and are a good place to watch the world go by.

This stretch of coast has two sports marinas, one at Cabo Roig and the other in Campoamor where nautical sports can be practiced.

Playa Flamenca Area

Although amenities and the beach are within walking distance of the house, if you do hire a car there is parking is off road on the private driveway next to the house. A short drive will take you past groves of oranges, lemons and olives to golf courses, the salt lakes, cave houses or water park.

Also along this stretch of coast there is a succession of sandy coves backing onto cliffs which are very popular with tourists and residents alike due to the crystal clear waters and the golden sand. The little beach bars, "chiringuitos", serve tapas, snacks and cold drinks and are a good place to watch the world go by.

There are many tourist attractions in the area to suit all tastes. Water parks, go-karting, museums, horse riding, zoo, palm gardens, craft centre in old cave houses, theme park, water sports, diving, the large 'parque natural', salt lakes, many beaches, markets, bowling, cinema. There may even be a local fiesta at the time of your visit. There are historic towns to visit, traditional villages, beautiful coves, lovely countryside and even nearby mountains. Just down the road is the Mar Menor, famous for it's mud baths and water sports.

You will find details of many attractions at the house. The local Saturday street market is almost on your doorstep.

Or you can 'shop till you drop' at the huge La Zenia Boulevard centre, less than 15 minutes walk from the house.

The area is serviced by two local airports, Alicante about 45 minutes by car to the north and Murcia (San Javier) approximately 20 minutes to the south. Please note that in January 2019 the Murcia airport is due to move to Corvera, approximately 45 minutes drive from the house.

Playa Flamenca is easily reached using the national N332 road or the AP7 motorway. The town of Torrevieja is a short drive or bus ride away.







Getting There

Approximately 45 minutes’ drive south of Alicante Airport and 20 minutes’ drive north of Murcia (San Javier) Airport. When Corvera airport opens (due January 2019) the driving time will be approximately 45 minutes.

Rental Details

The costs shown are per week for full use of the house, pools and gardens for up to 6 guests, plus £20 per stay for 7-8 guests.

All bed linen, house towels, wifi, electricity (inc. air conditioning) and water are included in the rental.

A charge of 80 euros for up to 6 people and 90 euros for 7-8 people is payable to the keyholder on arrival for the cleaning of the house and washing of bedding and house towels on your departure.

Dates are shown as Saturday to Saturday, but other days for arrival and departure and stays of part weeks can be arranged. Usual arrival time is 4pm and departure is by 10am, however when possible we will accommodate alternative times. Please contact us for details.

Payment can be made in Sterling or Euros. A deposit of £150 (or €175) is required to confirm and secure your booking. Should you choose not to proceed with the holiday before full payment is due the deposit is not returnable.

Full payment of the amount stated below is required 8 weeks before your holiday is due to commence. The deposit is returned to you within 14 days of the end of your holiday once we have confirmation from the keyholder that all is in order.

Cancellations after the full payment of the holiday has been paid: We suggest that to allow for unexpected cancellation of your holiday that you take out independent insurance. Refund of any rental paid is subject to being able to re-let the property. In the event of cancellation after the rental has been paid the deposit will still be refunded. Failure to supply legally required information under Spanish Law will be viewed as a cancellation by the renter.

Exterior Details

POOLS: There are two pools for your use, both in gated gardens. The first is next to the house and clearly visible from all outdoor spaces and from most windows of the house. The second is not visible but very close by and has more terrace.

Solarium: Large roof terrace with outside lounge and coffee table, chairs, sun shade, sun loungers, table and chairs and clothes line. Views to the pool and garden and also of the sea.

Outside terraces: The house has terraces on two sides and overlooks the pool and garden. Large round table, chairs and sun shade are provided for 'al fresco' dining. Also bistro table and chairs, 4 relaxing recliner chairs, coffee table and barbecue.

Interior Details

All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and heating making it suitable for your summer holiday, winter sun holiday or even a long weekend break. Wifi is included in the rental. All utilities also included.

Cotton bed sheets are provided. Towels for use in the house are supplied but please bring your own towels for use at the pool and beach.

The house is fully double glazed and has security grills on all windows and lockable rejas on all doors. The terrace gate is also lockable.


Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, oven, grill, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. All cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided.

Lounge/diner: The dining area has an extending table that seats 6 and a dresser containing games, books, DVD's, PS2 games and tourist information.

The lounge area has a two seater and a three seater sofa, 'cube' bean bag, coffee tables, music centre, reading lamp, satalite TV with DVD player and PS2 games consol. A selection of DVD's, PS2 games and CD's are provided for your convenience. Ceiling fans and hot/cold air conditioning. Gas heater and wall heaters for winter guests.

Two single folding beds can be used either in the lounge or one in each of the upstairs bedrooms.

Downstair shower room: Shower, wash basin and toilet.

Downstair twin bedroom: Large built in wardrobe, two full-size English single beds (Spanish beds are shorter!), two bedside cabinets, headboards, bedside lamps. Ceiling fan and hot/cold air conditioning.

Marble stairs to first floor.

Master bedroom: Large room with a King size bed, headboard, two bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, large chest of drawers, mirrors and built in wardrobe. Double doors open onto the balcony with recliner chairs and a coffee table, overlooking the pool and garden. Ceiling fan and hot/cold air conditioning. Space for cot or folding bed if required (cot can be hired locally and delivered to the house.)

Upstairs twin bedroom: Large room with two full size English single beds, bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, headboards, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe. Ceiling fan and hot/cold air conditioning. Room for third bed or cot if required.

Upstairs bathroom: Bath with shower over, vanity wash basin, toilet and bidet.

Washing machine, ironing board and iron are in the cupboard on landing.

Guest Book

This was our third visit to house by the pool and it won’t be our last. The house is spacious , clean and homely. There is plenty of outside space to choose from and the pool is right next to the house. When we have stayed in May and September we have had it to ourselves. It’s about a 15/20 minute walk to the beach, 10 mins to restaurants, we didn’t hire a car. Would recommend this property

This well appointed house, has everything to make your stay in Playa Flamenca an enjoyable experience. The house is in a very good location, about 15 mins walk to the beach, the same distance from La Zenia Boulevard where you can shop till you drop, and also dine in a variety of restaurants, if you love searching for a bargain in a street market your in luck, every Saturday morning there’s a large market literally at the end of the quiet cul de sac this house is on, check it out, and book it, I’ll definitely be back !

The house was more than we had hoped for, everything you might possibly need, tv, game console and games and books to keep the oldest and youngest amongst us entertained.....not that we needed any of that due to wonderful pool which we had solely to ourselves most of the time. The house was clean and the beds comfy, the location was blissful, so peaceful and restful. 10 minutes walk to the supermarket, 15 minutes to a lovely very un-commercialised beach, 3minutes to a lovely little bar. From start to finish the owners communicated any information we could possibly need to make our stay a pleasant one. We cannot recommend house by the pool enough to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, home from home retreat. I would return here in a heartbeat.
