A wonderful, detached cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way, located just three miles outside the coastal town of Bantry in County Cork. The cottage is set solely over the ground floor and is well-furnished throughout, with plenty of space making it ideal for friends and family to get together and enjoy each other's company. Upon entering the foyer area, the sitting room is located on your right hand side, through double doors, with a multi-fuel stove and big comfy furniture making it fantastic for a cosy night in after day of exploring. Further down the hall, there is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with a bay window seat looking out into the garden. There is also a second sitting room with a double sofa bed, which offers extra flexibility with sleeping arrangements in addition to the two fantastic bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. ...

...Outside, you will find a south facing lawn and patio at the back of the property, which means you get the best of the sun all day long. Sit out here and eat breakfast as you plan how to spend your day, or enjoy dinner alfresco and catch the last few rays of sun. The cottage is a short drive, or taxi ride away, from Bantry, where you can find a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and plenty of culture and local Irish music. West Cork provides the perfect getaway experience, offering plenty of bays and harbours to explore and supplying an excellent setting for road trips, where those who love adventure can go diving and sailing in the Atlantic, or hiking in the unspoilt Irish countryside. BANTRY WEST CORK IRELAND


Famous in song, Bantry in West Cork Ireland is of legendary beauty. Bantry, at the head of the bay, is a busy market town and fishing port. Bantry located at the mouth of Bantry Bay, was twice entered by French fleets in 1689 to support James II against William of Orange, in 1796 to aid Wolfe Tone and an Irish uprising. A storm dispersed the 1796 fleet and few of the ships made the Bay. The nearby sheeps head way is famous for its hill walking bringing walkers from all over Europe.
