The area is steeped in Irish tradition and culture and is well known for its majestic mountains, clear clean waters, pristine white sandy beaches and country walks. You can visit Glenveigh National Park (where the Golden Eagle flies again), the spectacular Slieve League sea cliffs, breath-taking Poison Glen and Bloody Foreland or the offshore islands of Tory, Gola and Arranmore. You can swim on Carrickfinn Blue Flag beach or go fishing, golfing or hill walking locally. Visit local pubs and restaurants including Danny Minnie's award winning restaurant in Anagaire. Situated close to Leo's Tavern, home of the famous musicians Enya and Clannad and near the home of well known singer Daniel O'Donnell.
