Solario de Sao Jose has excellent security: the perimeter is fully enclosed with gated entry only accessible by key or key pads.The apartment blocks also have locked security doors and the apartments have security shutters.
This luxury apartment has heating/Air conditioning for all year round holidays and it provides good accommodation for families. Lifts to all floors. There are 42 Apartmens all over looking the pool and we have 3 to let out.
The apartments are situated just a 5 minute walk to the main street of Albufeira, 7 minutes walk to The Strip with bars restraints and shops and 20 minutes to the Old Town again with bars restraints and shops so there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars within easy reach. The nearest beach is 800m away. 30 minutes to Faro Airport.

The Algarve Region
You get the sun all year round in the Algarve so you can have Sun, Sea, and play Golf? A short stroll will take you to the main shopping area of the "strip" as it is known locally where you will find typical Portuguese restaurants, bars, etc. It's a fun place to stroll through on your way home from the beach and pick up a souvenier or stop for a beer or an ice cream.
The Algarve has over 300 days of sunshine and this together with the friendliness of the people makes it an ideal destination for your holiday. (not forgetting the fact that it is so reasonably priced for eating out or purchasing your food supplies to cook in the apartment) There is lots for all the family to see and do nearby - Waterpark, Zoomarine,Slide 'n Splash ,Karting, golfing and of course the renowned shopping centre Algarve Shopping is a short 10 min car journey or taxi ride! Not to be missed.
Albufeira Area
Albufeira is well served with a great network of roads. Driving is easy and the A22 motorway stretches all along the Algarve making the whole coastline easily accessible. The old Town of Albufeira with its cobbled streets and its white washed buildings is well worth a visit. Drive into the countryside and you will see Portuguese life at its simplest, savour the many markets, stroll through the winding cobbled streets and sit and watch the world go by. It's bliss!

"I'll start off by saying that the place we stayed was incredible and we would definitely consider returning. We especially enjoyed the tasteful decor and amenities that the apartment offered. I can tell you as a Canadian that Portugal and specifically the Algarve does not receive the attention that they deserve. There is an untapped market and if Canadians begin to realize the affordiblility compared to Carribean locations there will be an explosion of attention, As for the apartment, it was magnificent, equipped with everything we needed so I don't have anything to add from that standpoint. The bathroom was very modern and just another part that stands out of the overall good taste that went into designing this apartment.
