What a nice time we had visiting Sandymount and staying in Iverna's apartment. The location is ideal, with a mesmerizing view of the Irish Sea, modern, comfortable living quarters and easy connection to the airport, downtown Dublin and to idylic seaside towns on the coast. The property was exactly as Iverna described it and met our needs well. The Sandymount Village is within walking distance and is just charming. Iverna's guide to pubs, restaurants and local merchants was quite helpful and accurate, What are you waiting for - this is the place for you.

With a fast response from the owner and an availability the days we needed we were quickly swept off to Dublin and area. The owner was quick to respon to our questions and added suggestions as to where is good to visit in this little village of Sandymount. A great location for the bus routes. A great location to dream out the windows as you stare at the bay. A quick walk to town and you have anything you really need if you don't want to venture any further. Nice shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from. All of the locals we met were very generous and friendly. This home away from home has everything from a comfortable large bed to a large bathroom and large kitchen. A tv that works and everything you need to make meals for yourself (other than the food.) Spacious closet and a portable heater for the area as it does get a tad chilly at times. We would recommend this place to anyone as long as you can climb about 15 stairs. We were able to meet the owner who is very nice as well. Go and stay, you won't be sorry. The nerby Dublin has alot to offer as well but if you just want some quiet.... this is your place too.

I had such a great time this summer staying at this apartment for a month. It is homey, comfortable, quiet, convenient and just right for one or two people. Immediately I relaxed after a transatlantic flight, and settled in. Stores and restaurants are so close for groceries or a meal. Aircoach stops are steps aways which makes getting to the airport a snap. Sky tv entertained my grandaughter very well. I enjoyed reading books from the bookshelf sitting on the nice red couch.
I can't wait to return. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

This is a gorgeous apartment in the best part of Dublin.
We loved being able to go to sleep listening to the seagulls and waves, and the local village shops had everything we required.
We found it so easy to get into Dublin city centre, usually took us about 10 minutes aon the bus that runs from right outside regularly.
The apartment was exactly as it was described, at the top of the house, bright and actually bigger than it looked in the photos.
The service from the owner was prompt from our first enquiry .
On arrival we received a warm welcome and some great tips on the area.
We especially appreciated the restaurants closeby and the Dublin Cultural tour.
We are so sorry to leave today but we fully intend returning to Dublin and would not stay anywhere else.
For anyone travelling without a car,as we did, the Aircoach stop is just nearby

I have been lucky enough to stay in this apartment almost every time I return to Dublin. I have visited at least 3 times a year as my daughter is studying in Dublin.
I always arrive with a feeling of reaching 'home' after the long journey, & there is always a warm welcome from the owner. The apartment is beautifully kept & I will never tire of the views. I love to walk along the Strand in the morning & have a delicious breakfast in Brownes Cafe on Sandymount Green. The Dart is a 10 minute walk away & with the bus stop just outside the door I do not need a car, though free parking is available all around.
I recommend this property to friends & relatives all the time, though I would quite simply be horribly disappointed if the owner could not let me stay because someone else had already booked. If only it were possible I would take my possessions & live there for years!

With the panoramic vistas of Dublin Bay and just a stone's throw from Dublin centre this apartment was ideally situated for our recent visit to Dublin. We were delighted with the accommodation and could have spent hours just looking out the windows. The property was in pristine condition and very comfortably furnished. It is also just a few minutes walk from Sandymount Village which is very attractive and has quite a few restaurants worth visiting. We shall be back!

This apartment on Strand Road was exactly what I was hoping for and exactly what I needed. I was convalescing after a long illness and wanted to be next to the sea for the air and exercise and views, and I wanted to be in Dublin in order to visit my daughter who is studying there. As soon as I arrived I knew I'd chosen the right place. It was very clean and warm ( it was January) and I felt safe and comfortable. I can honestly say I started to feel better after the first day, and by the time I left I was almost completely renewed. The view was wonderful with so much to watch - people excersising their dogs or themselves, the ferries from UK coming and going and sailing boats at the weekend. The bus stop was right outside the house and regular buses took me into the city in about 15 minutes. A 5 minute walk took me to the local shops, cafes and pub. I didn't need to go any further if I wanted a restful day. I stayed for four weeks and felt completely at home. The owner, Iverna, made me feel very welcome and no question was too much problem. She even made an appointment for me with her own doctor just round the corner when I felt rather unwell at one point. The doctor was marvellous and immediately helped me feel better.
A fifteen minute walk took me to the DART railway station, where regular trains went to the North or South of Dublin. Howth was my favourite destination - a working fishing harbour of great attractiveness where you could buy fish almost as they came off the boats, or let someone else cook them at one of the restaurants beside the water. You can also climb to the cliff tops and look back at Dublin Bay and the city - a stunning view.
There is definitely no need for a car as public transport is plentiful and so handy.
The apartment is very spacious - even the bathroom has plenty of space. I am hoping to return as soon as I can, and I would recommend the apartment to anyone ( as long as they are not booked in when I want it!)
