Situated in a quiet rural location, on a 15 acre non working farm, we are only 2 miles from the beautiful coast of Cardigan Bay.
This 18th Century (built in 1711) cottage was recently renovated.

The Ceredigion Region
In the cottage is a large selection of brochures of attractions in the Ceredigion and Pembrokshire counties. We can give you help in choosing which attractions you may find interesting to visit. Additionally there are the fascinating coastal paths of Cardigan Bay (famed for its rugged coast and dolphins) and Pembrokeshire.
Further afield there is St. Davids, the smallest city in the UK with its unique cathedral ( in a hollow to protect it from Viking raiders) and Aberystwyth, the bustling university town and seaside resort.
Cilgarren Castle overlooks the river Teifi which offers many miles of beautiful walks along the river banks.
New Quay is a picturesque seaside village, offering dolphin-spotting boat trips, beaches and much more.
There are many beautiful old churches in the area, such as Mwnt
Cardigan Area
In the immediate area there are several blue flag sandy beaches (such as Mwnt (left), National Trust coastal areas and small fishing villages.
The spectacular coastal path runs for hundreds of miles around Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion
The cottage is 400 yards from the A487 Cardigan to Aberystwyth road near to the village of Sarnau. There is a farm shop at the junction with the main road for vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products. There is a bakery in Sarnau which is one mile away. The nearest supermarkets are in Cardigan (10 miles) and Newcastle Emlyn (10 miles) but there are convenience stores in the garages in Tanygroes (2 miles) and Brynhoffnant (2 miles).
Getting There
The nearest port is Fishguard, the ferry comes from Cork and Fishguard is only 30mins away.

The house offers a private patio and garden, quiet, secure location and ample off-road parking
The yard contains the cottage, main house and stables & is surrounded by fields / woods.
There is a private garden and secluded patio with chairs & Bar-B-Que overlooking rolling countryside to the rear. Pets, under control, are very welcome.
The cottage is located 10 miles NE of Cardigan town and is only a short drive from the many attractions of the area.
Rental Details
High season rates are £460 per week with low season weekend breaks from £150.

The living room has exposed wooden beams and an Inglenook fireplace, sofa, armchairs and television.
The spacious bathroom has a large shower, toilet and hand basin. All linen and hand towels are provided but we do ask guests to bring their own bath towels.
The kitchen contains crockery for 5, toaster, kettle, microwave, washing machine and a table seating 5.
Both bedrooms have exposed original beam ceilings & fitted carpets.
